Google Business Profile · Poland

In a local search, your profile is seen before your website.

A map and three business profiles fill the first screen — and many Polish customers call straight from there. I set the profile up, get it through Google's verification and write it for Polish search, then hand you a guide in English so your team can keep it alive.

Why it matters

For a local search, the profile is seen before the website

Type a service plus a city into Google in Poland and look at what fills the first screen: a map and three business profiles. Photos, opening hours, reviews, a call button. Many customers decide there and call without ever opening a website. For a company new to Poland, that panel is often the first impression you make — and an empty or half-filled profile makes you look like you are not really here.

The profile is also the cheapest visibility you will ever buy: it is free to run, it moves within weeks rather than months, and most of your Polish competitors are neglecting theirs.

Scope

What the optimisation covers

A one-off piece of work with a clear end state — not an open-ended retainer.

Setup or takeoverA new profile, or recovering one that already exists and nobody in your company can access.
Verification supportI prepare you for exactly what Google asks to see — a failed attempt makes the next one harder.
Polish categories and descriptionWritten against Polish search data. An English description quietly costs you the Polish queries.
Services and attributesThe structured fields Google actually uses to match you to a query — usually left empty.
Photos and opening hoursComplete, correctly sized and current — including the hours that stop customers arriving to a closed door.
Review strategyA direct review link and a workable routine for asking, so reviews arrive steadily rather than never.
Insights walkthroughHow to read calls, direction requests and searches, so you can tell whether it is working.
Handover guide in EnglishShort and practical, so your team can keep the profile alive without me.

How it works

From nothing to competing — four steps

Verification is the part that can take time; the rest moves quickly.

1

2

Setup and verification

Creating or claiming the profile and getting through Google's verification, prepared in advance.

3

Optimisation

Categories, services, description, photos, hours and attributes — all written for Polish search.

4

Handover

A walkthrough of the insights and a written English guide. You can run it yourself, or I keep it going monthly.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I have a profile without a Polish address?
You need a verifiable presence in Poland — either a street address or a defined service area you actually serve. A registered office abroad is not enough on its own. If you have a Polish address you do not want shown publicly, a service-area profile hides it while keeping you eligible. If you have neither yet, the profile has to wait; I will say so rather than take the money.
How does verification work for a foreign company?
Google verifies by postcard, phone, email or video call, depending on the category and country — and it decides which method you get. Video verification is now common and usually the fastest: you walk through the premises and show signage and equipment. I prepare you for exactly what Google asks to see, because a failed attempt makes the next one harder.
Can the profile be in English?
The profile should be in Polish, because that is what your customers search in and what Google matches against. Google will show its own translations to English-speaking users. Writing the description in English to serve your head office is a common and expensive mistake — it costs you the Polish queries entirely.
How long until it shows results?
A neglected or newly verified profile usually moves within two to six weeks — it is the fastest lever in local visibility. In a competitive city and category it takes longer and depends heavily on the steady flow of reviews.
What happens after the optimisation?
You can run it yourself — I hand over a short written guide in English covering posts, photos and review responses. Or I keep it running as part of the monthly local SEO service. There is no obligation either way, and the profile stays yours.
Is it worth it if I already have a website?
Usually more so, not less. For local searches the profile is what appears above the results and next to the map — many customers call straight from it without ever opening a website. The site and the profile reinforce each other; running only one of them leaves the easier half of the visibility on the table.
